Daniel Chambliss Lesson for Life
Logan Iversen and Daniel Reinhart
Meet Logan and Daniel, two peas in a pod who decided to work together on this very cool digital infographic. Daniel is an exercise science major who is on the track team as a pole vaulter. He gets a kick out of PBJs and wrote his college essay on them, believe it or not. Logan is a meteorology and earth science major who is also on the track team as a distance runner. Logan is a valuable addition to 89.1, the campus radio station, where he gives out weather reports. We encourage you to tune in sometime. Logan and Daniel were interested in what Chambliss had to say due to the fact that they are both student athletes. You can view their infographic down below:
Estelle LeBoeuf
Estelle, the artist of this exhibit, is a criminal justice major and student athlete (gymnastics). As you can imagine from her major, Estelle enjoys learning about crime and deviant behavior and is an avid Criminal Minds fan. Since she is an athlete here at college, she chose to create a poster on Chambliss because she liked how he talked about talent being built on deliberate practice and hard work. She especially thought his talk could apply to what she does as a gymnast.
Savana Henry
The creator of this poster is Savana, a physical education major. She is not sure what grades she would like to teach but we have no doubt that she will be fantastic in anything she does! Savana is an athlete, playing volleyball and is on the track team as a thrower. She chose to tackle Dan for this project because she liked what he said about surrounding yourself with supportive and good people in order to be good yourself.
The idea is that surrounding yourself with others who are successful will make you successful as well.
Brenda Martin
Here is Brenda's wonderful creation. Brenda is a double major in psychology and criminal justice. With her major, she loves to learn about different theories as to why people commit crimes. She wanted to create an infographic poster on Dan's talk because she found that a lot of what he mentioned applied to various aspects in her life. She told us that the information Dan gave regarding the impact of the right environment could have been useful to know earlier on in life.
